"Papa" Gus Losleben
| Kind, Polite, Greatful... These are just a few words that can be used to describe Lt. Gus Losleben, but honestly it's hard not to say anything but good things about him. He was a great friend to so many, and he provided a listening ear to everyone. He loved working on his farm, volunteering for the fire department, working in his wood-working shop, and taking care of his wonderful wife. Gus always greeted you with a smile on his face, his hair pulled back in a pony tail, and you wouldn't be suprised if you caught him wearing flea collars around his boots! Lt. Gus Losleben 603 Hardin County Fire Department Line of Duty Death - December 9, 2014 The Department has been running since 1979 and this was the very first LODD. We hope and pray we never see another, and have sympathy for those that have LODDs. |
