8-21-2010 District 3, 7 and E-12 responded to 2 house fires within 1 hour
on Saturday evening, check out the pics under Pics & News link.


The eastern part of Hardin County was hit by a major flash flood on
8-18-2010. 5 homes and 1 business were damaged along with many
roads and several bridges, with an estimated 1.1 million dollars in
damage, check out the pictures posted under recent pics & news.


8-15-2010 The Hardin County Dive team used a pair of lift bags to remove
a 2006 Chevy truck from the TN river near river hieghts resturant, the
truck was reported stolen in 2008. (click to play videos)

The Hardin County Fire Department was recognized and awarded a
certificate at the annual Fire Chiefs Conference in Nashville last week.
The TN Fire Academy presented a certificate to Chief Martin for 2,715
hours of training by the department through the academy in the past
year. This is an acheivement made possible only by all the dedicated
volunteers that took fire training this past year through the academy.!
